RAICS

IEEE RAICS 2015 Ph.D. Forum is for Ph.D scholars to share their ideas and interests to academia as well as industry. The forum offers opportunities for Ph.D scholars to present their work, discuss,interact, and learn from experts. The forum also aims at encouraging collaborative research in order to solve problems for future computational systems.

ELIGIBILITY

The area of research work must be within the scope of the IEEE RAICS 2015 conference as described in the Call for Papers. Students who are pursuing their Ph.D program and Ph.D graduates who graduated within the last one year are eligible to submit camera ready extended abstracts for review.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions should be written in IEEE two-column format not exceeding 4 pages. Abstracts should contain clear definition of the problem, its importance in the present scenario, proposed solution with results and analysis, current status of the work, major conclusions, and future scope. The topic of the abstract should fall within the scope of IEEE RAICS 2015. Camera Ready extended abstracts may be submitted via EDAS (https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=20117). Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to present them in an exclusive session at IEEE RAICS 2015.

The abstracts presented in the Ph.D Forum will be included in the IEEE RAICS 2015 conference proceedings.
But they will not be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

REGISTRATION FEE

There is a registration fee of INR 3000/- for participation in the Ph.D Forum whose abstracts are accepted. Foreign nationals will be required to pay 60 USD

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr.Achuthsankar S. Nair


Dr.Achuthsankar S. Nair heads the State Inter University Centre of Excellence in Bioinformatics, University of Kerala. He is an electrical engineer who had his education from University of Kerala, IIT-Bombay and University of Cambridge, UK. He has taught in various engineering colleges and universities, both in India and abroad since 1987. He had served as Director of C-DIT, Govt. of Kerala and also as Visiting Professor in University of Korea, Seoul. His activities include teaching, research and popular science writing in IT, Computational Biology and many interdisciplinary areas.
